The Valley Fair Kiosk, located in Santa Clara, CA, is the first kiosk concept design developed for Blue Bottle Coffee. The aim was to create a design that would clearly express the brand identity in any location. All components were pre-fabricated in a factory, allowing for rapid on-site assembly. This system enables flexible and efficient deployment of café spaces, even in limited or complex environments.At the heart of the open structure is a blue canopy creating a strong presence that is instantly recognizable from a distance. The louvers within the canopy provide a pleasant rhythm of light and offer a sense of privacy within the space. While harmonizing with the surrounding environment, the iconic space and vivid blue canopy naturally draw people in.The minimal and functional counter layout is optimized to deliver the highest quality of service within a compact operational space, enabling a seamless interface between baristas and customers. This small-format concept represents a next-generation café design that integrates sustainability, portability, and visibility at a high level.

ブルーボトルコーヒーのために開発されたスモールフォーマットのマスターデザイン。いかなる場所においても、きちんとブランドが際立つデザインが必要とされた。またすべてのパーツを工場で事前製作し、現地で迅速に組み立て可能なシステムを構築。これにより、限られたスペースや複雑な設置環境においても、柔軟かつ効率的にカフェ店舗を展開することが可能となる。開放的な構造の中に、ブランドの象徴であるブルーのキャノピーを配し、遠くからでも一目で認識できる強い存在感を演出。キャノピー内のルーバーは心地よい光のリズムとエリア内のプライバシーを生み出している。周囲の景色と調和しながらも、鮮やかに浮かび上がるアイコニックな空間とブルーの存在が人々を自然と惹きつける。ミニマルで機能的なカウンター構成は、限られたオペレーションスペースでも最高の品質を提供するために最適化されており、バリスタと顧客がシームレスにつながるインターフェースを実現している。このスモールフォーマットは、持続可能性・可搬性・視認性を高次元で融合させた、次世代型カフェデザインとなった。
