Renovation of an oceanfront residence in Zushi city, Kanagawa Prefecture. By carefully reducing the wall in the interior, the ocean view could be enjoyed from anywhere in the room and each space is composed by movable partitions, opening up to one big room. While the interior space is surrounded by natural wood, contrasted areas are separated by solid black materiality. The residence expresses a modern and well-defined living space and hidden bedroom with bold play of materials and warm light.

神奈川県逗子市、オーシャンフロント住宅のリノベーション。部屋のどこからでも海を眺望できる様に各部屋の壁を無くし、可動パーテーションで空間を構成している。そして木の素材が全体に広がる空間の中、一部のエリアを黒色素材の集合体で大きく切り分けている。素材の大きな切り返しと暖かな光が広がるモダンでメリハリのある住空間となった。
